There’s always something to revel about during the summer season! For those who don’t already know by now, I am a sun worshipper and I love being under the sun almost all the time, as long as my schedule permits it, that is. So, allow me to take a break from the corporate looks I shall soon be bombarding you with and let me share with you my perfect “lazy summer day getaway look.” The thing about me is that even when I try to make my outfit casual, it always ends up looking more glam that I would want it to be since I tend to overcompensate. To make the two ends meet, I decided on this beautiful chiffon maxi skirt and a cropped jersey top which is still a more dressed up look but I decided to keep it casual with flat sandals and minimal accessories. It is, for me, the perfect poolside look, especially for those who aren’t keen on swimming but would opt to lounge about instead… which I did on that day. I must admit, I haven’t quite had my share of fun under the summer sun as of yet but I am looking forward to an adventure, which I will be sure to share with you all… sooners rather than laters.
