I love coats, as I am sure you’ve discovered by now based on my blog entries and one of the major closet staples that I find so much use for is a beige coat. Personally, I find it to be such a versatile piece as I can wear it a variety of ways (and I actually have!)
For this particular work day though, I decided to keep things classic and simple. I love how a white button down top, black slacks and a pair of red shoes can be the ultimate go-to outfit for days when you’re rushing and have no time to mix and match. What I love all the more is how adding such a timeless piece- like this beige coat- instantly takes things to another level and totally completes the look. You see, with the knowledge of the basics, you don’t need to sacrifice looking your best just because you’re too hectic to think about what to wear. Part of business and corporate life (unless you are glued to a table from 8-5) is knowing how to present yourself accordingly and as cliched as this sounds- how you package yourself plays a major factor in how people you deal with perceive you.
I am at a point where my life is undergoing a transformation from fashion maven/socialite to full fledged tycoon and business magnate and granted that, expect my blog posts to transform along with my new career path. I hope you can grow with me and still relate to me as I take on this new path.
