Keep it pure. I wore this white on white ensemble when I went out of town to a beautiful place and for a good moment I was able to drown out the noise that surrounds me in everyday life. I am not saying the noise is all that bad since I crave for it sometimes but there are moments when it can be overwhelming. So I escape, one way or another.
The thing about having time to focus on “YOU” for quite some time is that you stop overanalyzing and you start de-cluttering. Inevitably you discover that all those things you thought you couldn’t live without turn out to be distractions on your road to self-fulfillment. Simplifying your life and depending on yourself without the need for another person’s approval (in my case, for the first time after quite a while) opens you to a whole lot of possibilities you never knew existed in the first place. One of my staff joked earlier that I should write a book on “How to be Single” since I am such an advocate for it and it was quite a dire situation to have that mentioned to me but I guess I really thrived during this stage of my life. And like this white on white outfit… I feel that I am finally clean.
