In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of one of the iconic movies of my youth, here’s a tribute to Cher Horowitz’ iconic plaid outfit with a rock and roll twist since instead of wearing it with the customary plaid jacket over a knit cardigan, I decided to put a spin on things and wear the plaid skirt with a leather jacket and studded boots to add some edge.
I also needed to be situationally dressed since I wore this outfit to an event, which called for a British High Street dress code, and since I am one to never pass up on a theme, I just had to represent and be appropriate. Surprisingly, the ensemble was absolutely comfortable and okay to wear to the office (since the event I was attending was in the evening)— but minus the boots of course.
Anyway, I do hope you enjoyed this outfit. It was a throwback to the ‘90s and I had a fabulous time wearing it. Until the next post!
