As always, black and white are the easiest colors to pull off especially on days you’re feeling more “BLAH” than “FAB!”
I love these basic colors because there are just some days that are bleak and I just want to simplify. For instance, on work days, especially after being absolutely busy and swamped, I just don’t want to think of color coordinating anymore and every girl knows that the combination of black and of white never fails. On this day, I wanted to achieve a jumpsuit effect by pairing an interesting shaped pair of black trousers (it has a harem shape to it but nothing too explicit) with a black bodysuit (which I admit, may have been a bit too boudoir for business) and topped it off with a stark white blazer that added a dash of “professional” to the look. I admit it… there are some days I just want to keep it as simple, clean and as basic as possible… this day was a perfect example of that.
