I am the type of person who prefers to have my beauty services and treatments done from home. With the heavy traffic in Metro Manila, even a simple trip to the spa or a wellness clinic is in itself a chore and the travel time to get from Point A to Point B is honestly more than enough added stress. This is why I was so happy that I found out about A Big Day Slim Team, a company that understands that while a girl has got to pamper and beautify herself, it would be so much better for them to do so from the convenience of her own home.
While I understand that nothing can replace healthy eating and exercise as the essentials for personal fitness, even I have to admit that there are some times that even these just won’t do especially when it comes to those stubborn problem areas that we have (you know those bulges that no amount of cardio and lifting can seem to tone and slim down). I booked my Big Day session for 2pm and I was pleased to find that my technician arrived 15 minutes before schedule to give her ample time to set up and prepare for my treatment. I could tell that she was very professional and well-trained. She handing me a form to get my background and history and explained my treatments in detail and relaying what I could expect for the day’s session. She did the complete set-up in my room which includes the spa or treatment bed, fresh linens, the machines and gels to be used and even set the mood with a scented candle.
At the time of my session, I was going through some post-wedding food binges so I opted to have my waist area and arms targeted with Lipocavitation treatment and Radiogrequency (RF) treatment for my face and neck. Lipocavitation and Radiofrequency allows your body to break down fat cells as it uses machines calibrated to use ultrasonic waves to target your fat cells. These cells are then metabolized through your body’s natural removal processes. It is completely painless and requires no downtime. The treatment time for each body part takes about 30 minutes (total session took 1.5 hours) which personally flew by quickly as I was so relaxed throughout the session. I lost about an inch from my waist from one treatment which I was so satisfied with that I hurriedly booked my next session right away!
Since then I’ve had 3 sessions with Big Day Slim Team and I am very happy with the results. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to tone and slim down from the convenience and comfort of their own home.
