Grand Theft Autumn

Darkness falls, here comes the rain to wash away the past and the names.

My “last Friday night” outfit which was worn rather to the maximum as I wore it to both of my excursions which I call B1 + B2 (I love how I refer to my nights out like Vitamins). I’ve been quite sick of staying in at home the past week since I was very sick with the flu so when I finally got the chance to go out, I decided to deliver and make the most out of it (until 4 am which was in my own term…sagad lang)…and in probably as minimal clothing possible. I wanted to be edgy and at the same time comfortable and not too over the top (as I had no plans of clubbing at all) and was going to the 2 B’s aka. my home bases- BOROUGH in podium (to meetup with friends) and BARCINO (for a great nightcap) in Rockwell which is always a comfort place for me since I am there almost 3x a week! My never fail closet item right now are my corsets as I find them virtually easy to match with every article of clothing I own. For this night, I decided to keep it as fresh and simple with understated glam since I knew it was going to be an al fresco night and I didn’t really be want to be all fidgety with my clothes. In the end, it ended up to be wonderful evening… dramatic and definitely interesting. I shall say no more…*insert sly smile here*

I love shopping at Multiply.com

I have no secrets— only dirty shame.

Black and Yellow.

Outfit for the SuperSale Bazaar, decided to edge it up (given I am quite the edgy girl) and recover from my pastel princess outfit from the last post. So, I paired a cropped studded bralet from Stylebreak (http://stylebreak.multiply.com) and a highwaisted skirt from Glitterati (http://www.shopglitterati.com.ph) which is half sheer and half covered. I cinched the look altogether with a studded belt. (Yes, I am giving in to the sheer trend, this was the perfect balance. Translucent + Studs…nothing sounds better) My brother found the outfit waaaay too formal and fashionable for a normal weekender but I told him I dress up to the nines…and it’s all or nothing… MORE is MORE!

Jam-packed weekend.
After my Super Sale Saturday, headed on to Member’s Only for an exclusive party and the launch of their Forever 21 Gift Card and lovely brand ambassadors who also happen to be my friends/ fellow bloggers, Lissa, Patricia, Domz and Tricia.

The Higher the Better.

SKIRTING THE ISSUE? The skirt is the issue…. Major scene stealer.

I loved the night and I loved it all the more because I got to wear my stunning Vania Romoff skirt which has these gorgeous ruffle frills. I’ve been saving wearing this skirt since forever and I am so happy I finally got to that night! Since it was a F21 event, I thought it was only fitting to accessorize in Forever 21…which btw are my few fave accessories in my stash right now!

Patricia Prieto, blogger, model and up and coming fashion designer sparkled in sequined dress.
I’d love to wear this to new year’s seriously!

Lissa Kahayon, blogger and up and coming stylist in a very whimsical outfit which is so her. Fashion creativity is so Lissa!

Angels too tied to the ground

I’ve been wanting chiffon tie-up sandals since forever. I remember I had a pair or two before but it mysteriously disappeared which is why I was beyond ecstatic when Fendi reintroduced tulle sheer sandals in their Spring 2010 runway. I’ve been wanting the ones from Stella Luna but they ran out of my size almost instantly. Before long, chiffon sandals were all the rage and I was especially quite anxious Topshop came out with their own retail version. However, by the time they got here in Manila, I was on my self imposed shoe ban since I have a surplus of unworn shoes in my closet. Not wanting to spend anymore on shoes I have no more space for, I decided to let go…but that was quite impossible especially after seeing my two very good friends and fashion bloggers Lissa and Patricia rock their own Wisterias.

Luckily, my parents stepped in and decided to treat me to a shoe shopping trip this week which was a blessing since I was so decided that I was not going to shell out any more cash on shoes, for the next 2-3 months anyway. I was quite torn between the pale pink one and the black and it took me quite a while (30 minutes) to decided until my family gave up on me and decided to get me the two pairs…. And it was like Christmas morning seriously… I got to satisfy my inner Imelda for a day at least! And that’s the story behind these shoes!

I decided to wear the pink ones on a sunny Thursday since it just matched my chiffon Topshop robe to the tee. I’ve been thinking of how to wear this coat for the longest time since I got it almost 70% off in the July Topshop sale. I am happy I saved it! I wore it in a boudoir inspired way… since it does look like a night coat, I paired it with a black satin bustier (to keep the innerwear as outerwear feel going) tucked in highwaist shorts from H&M. I kept the look pretty basic and simple since the shoes were the IT FACTOR of the whole look. The pair was so comfy and I felt super tall in it! Thank God I got sponsored to buy it! Haha!Till the next post, loves!
