Sweet Fantasy

I was fortunate enough to have been able to watch the Mariah Carey concert a week or so back and I was immensely happy that I didn’t skip it as I was highly entertained and it was, of course, such a privilege to have been able to watch her belt out to her songs live. She truly was an extraordinary and talented performer and her voice range is simply out of this world. Continue reading Sweet Fantasy

Use Somebody

Waging wars to shake the poet and the beat.
(Dress: SuperSale Bazaar | Belt: Hermes | Bag: Louis Vuitton Murakami | Necklace: Fuddy Duddy | Shoes: Zara | Bangles: SuperSale Bazaar.)

Another archived look, I don’t even remember when I wore this. But for one, I have to say, I love camel, I love Hermes (spot the Camel Hermes Belt c/o my mom) and I love color which I used to accent my rather monotonous outfit with a very colorful rainbow Murakami purse from Louis Vuitton. Metro Society-The Luxury Issue: July 2010 Feature

As a little girl, I did not quite get the fascination women had with branded pieces. I would often find it amusing how my mom could spend 3 hours or more in her favorite designer store and choosing Italian made goodies while I read my favorite Sweet Valley pocketbook or Archie comics.
More so, I found it odd that we would devote so much time and effort on such pieces.
Sad to say, a 9 year old me was a stranger to brands like Chanel or Gucci or Louis Vuitton.

Fast forward to a decade later, and I found myself with a closet full of said brands…and a little bit more after that, lo and behold, I was being featured as a brand loyal girl.

I did a shoot for METRO Society last month for a feature on brand-loving people. Do grab a copy!

Thanks to Patrick Alcober of Shu Uemura for my makeup
and
Jim Guerrero of L’oreal Professionel for my hair.

My bestfriend and style sister, Nina Estacio is also featured! Do check out her blog and stalk away! xx
