Grapevine Fires

Wine is bottled poetry.
(Sequin dress used as top: Forever 21 | Skirt: Glitterati | Shoes: CMG | Bag: Marc Jacobs | Belt: Vintage | Neclace: RUCKUS)

I mixed champagne gold with a red wine hued sheer chiffon maxi skirt which was part of my brand’s 2011 Collection. The top, is actually a dress and was given to me by my sister from the US. Keeping the New Year Shimmer vibe going, I decided to layer it under my maxi skirt since the sequins complimented the hue of the skirt. Now to break off the sequin + plain outfit, I added in a vintage animal print belt (which I inherited from my mom) and added a fringe necklace to finish of the look.

This outfit was what I wore to my sister’s so-called “LAST SUPPER” as she leaves for the US again and we had it at chic and savvy resto Masetto where the food was just divine. This is my 2nd time to eat here and I loved the food!

More so, there was no wifi in the spot our table was located in so we put down our phones and got to actually bond a lot that night! All in all, it was the perfect send-off!

PS: I’m done with my sequin spree. TRUST ME!

TOUGH LOVE
(Blazer: Zara | Chiffon Top: Zara | Maxi Skirt: Glitterati | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Shoes: Zara | Accessories: + Ruckus & Extreme Finds | Sunnies: Prada)

Color blocking in orange and hot pink for a Tuesday afternoon-night rendezvous.

If you are what you wear, you better dress the part you want. A few lucky ladies can do no wrong. Their looks: perfection. And they’ve got accessories to match. But most girls get tired of the same old look. And they’ll do anything to get the hot new piece on their arm. And then there are those with no vision of their own. Thieves of fashion who will steal the shirt off your back. And always remember, appearances can be deceiving. But whatever you wear, always dress to kill.

Christmas Shopping and gifted myself with two pretty Marc Jacobs Stam Bags!

Last Day of Magic

Magenta Magnet.
(Chiffon Maxi Skirt: Glitterati | Tanktop: Topshop | Accessories : +RUCKUS | Bag: Zara | Shoes: SOULE PHENOMENON)

I wore a sheer chiffon maxi skirt which reveals a little peek-a-boo of the leg as the lining is a miniskirt, it is from my brand Glitterati and comes in black, white, yellow and white (though we have 1 last white left as the skirt got sold out that day). The waist area is garterized, making it easy to move in and very comfortable for Day 3 of the SUPERSALE BAZAAR at the World Trade Center.

I paired it with a tied at the waist basic tanktop from Topshop and then added fringed and feather accessories from my cousin’s brand +RUCKUS who also was showcasing several pieces at the bazaar. I paired it with black strappy wedges (wedges are comfort and high heels combined) and was set to go. It was an eventful and VERY VERY full bazaar. Thank you to all those who came to support!

The Pageant of the Bizarre

Off-Duty Princess.
(Top: Topman XXS Tank | Taffeta Mullet Skirt: Glitterati | Belt: Glitterati | Accessories: Random | Combat Boots: Random from Rockwell Bazaar)

How to dress down a ball skirt?
I desperately wanted to wear this skirt so bad since I love how it flows and moves whenever I walk. It glides along with me and poufs behind that it almost makes me feel regal with every step I take… Hey if the tiara fits, wear it…right? I rarely have places to wear these pretty clothes as I am in my gym-gym / errands lifestyle, which calls for casual and sportswear 99% of the time. I’ve been down with fever the past days and was stuck at home so when I heard I could finally go out, I decided this skirt was the outfit choice. The dilemma was on how to dress it down and make it a bit less princess-y and lot more for day and night out on the town. I had an event launch with Lissa to attend in the afternoon, a little shopping, a family din-din and then a BFF date with Nina who I was meeting up to toast up Glitterati’s store’s 1st year Anniversary.

The Answer: Keep it simple. A skirt in this design, with this extraordinary shape and gorgeous color + fabric is THE STATEMENT PIECE of the look. Keep everything else basic and edgy. So I chose a tank top which has a masculine cut to toughen up the look, a studded belt cinched at the waist and tie-up combat boots which totally made the outfit edgier and rocker chic rather than Princess Diaries-esque. It was a risque move to pair combat boots with the skirt but I kinda enjoyed the bipolarity in the outfit…I was so happy to have worn it…day to night. Hope it worked!

I have no secrets— only dirty shame.

Black and Yellow.
(Top: Stylebreak | Belt: Glitterati | Skirt: Glitterati | Bag: Zara | Shoes: Soule Phenomenon)

Outfit for the SuperSale Bazaar, decided to edge it up (given I am quite the edgy girl) and recover from my pastel princess outfit from the last post. So, I paired a cropped studded bralet from Stylebreak (http://stylebreak.multiply.com) and a highwaisted skirt from Glitterati (http://www.shopglitterati.com.ph) which is half sheer and half covered. I cinched the look altogether with a studded belt. (Yes, I am giving in to the sheer trend, this was the perfect balance. Translucent + Studs…nothing sounds better) My brother found the outfit waaaay too formal and fashionable for a normal weekender but I told him I dress up to the nines…and it’s all or nothing… MORE is MORE!
