A personal favorite of mine, the brand showcased an amazing lineup for its S/S 2012 Collection. Aside from the mainstays- bodycon dresses, Herve Leger sent down the runway were combinations of modern tribal African flavor with a bit of tasteful bondage and S&M. Think the canvas fit dress spiced up and embellished with flashy fringe and metallic hardware for a bit of edginess. The outfits were also accessorized with vampy, strappy sandals and the occasional tough-girl motorcycle jacket. Herve Leger’s collection proved that it is possible to improve upon what you’ve already deemed to be perfection – and that it can be a wise gamble to take your chic aesthetic into a bit more of a darker territory, with eye-catching results.
