I love wearing autumn colors as I love the season and well technically what it stands for… considering I live in a tropical country with only two seasons: hot or cold. Due to climate change, of course, the -Ber months back here have been less “BRR” and more “BOO” as the temperature is at its ultimate high and it feels more like summer. However, the scorching heat won’t stop me from trying on a few autumn trends and adapting it to make it somehow more appropriate for the climate which is why I opted for a rust shade (almost pumpkin like and very reminiscent of fall leaves… don’t you think?) in a very classic and comfortable cut- sleeveless top and cropped pants. Now, I was never a fan of coordinates before but as I said, when it comes to fashion (and sometimes, life) it’s better to have a “never say never” policy since it’s kind of hard to take back your words. I am glad to have found an appreciation for it as it has some very flattering effects and is very easy to style. I mean no need to have to create an ensemble as it is technically almost a one-sie…right? And the best part? You can wear it separately with something else which is actually a money saver!
Anyway, I apologize for being out of social media recently as I have been very busy on so many things that I actually forgot I had an actual blog to maintain. However, I learned that life is all about balance and making all facets of your life “work” so I do take responsibility for having been lacking in this aspect. I am pleased to say that I have realized my mistake and do have plans to take things to another level by giving you a bigger and better platform to stay in touch. Of course, that means I have to give up certain things as I undergo the transition and this means less entries for Only The Marvelous… but more insights for somewhere else and while it makes me feel a tad sentimental and nostalgic, I also can’t contain my excitement for what is in store. I would appreciate it immensely if you follow me and evolve with me through this change and I can only promise you nothing but fabulous things. I am so ready to embark on this new journey and can’t wait for you to be wowed by it. I hope you will love it as much as I do.
